More about typical applications:

Installation and maintenance of cellular porous paving

For a successful porous paving installation, the site needs to be excavated and a suitable sub base installed, as described for both gravel and grass surfacing.
Porous paving is simply connected together and the flexibility of the pavers means that they can be laid on undulating surfaces and gradients, without fear of fracture or separation.
Porous paving can be filled with either gravel or loam for grass seeding into.
If filled with gravel the porous paving will confine the infill material within its cells, to prevent rutting and gravel migration.
When filling with loam and seeding with grass, you can maintain or create a green area, which can safely be used to park on.
Porous paving can be used as a solution on a Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) project. Read more information about SUDS at TDP.
